Intertops Qualifier Makes it to Poker EM Final Table, Finishes 9th


Peter Gall from Hungary made it to the Final Table at the European Poker Championship (Poker EM) in Velden, Austria this weekend. He had a good run but, unfortunately, ended up finishing in 9th place. He's disappointed, of course, but still got a good return on his $100 buy-in for the online satellite at Intertops Poker where he won his trip and tournament buy-in!

Intertops Player Chip Leader Going into Day 2 at Poker EM


Two Intertops Poker players that won their way to the Poker EM European Poker Championship in Velden, Austria started Day 2 in very good positions. Peter Gall was the chip leader with 440,000 chips and Akash Mazumdar ended Day 1 with 163K chips, well above the average.

Akash Mazumdar won an online satellite at Intertops Poker that sent him to St Maarten for the TKPT -- where he won the main event! He recently won a European Poker Championships satellite and is enjoying Velden, Austria with his girlfriend.

European Poker Championships Begin in Velden, Austria

Rikard Aberg is in Velden, Austria for the European Poker Championships (Poker EM) this week. He'll be with Akash Mazumdar who will be playing in the Main Event. Akash won his way to Austria by winning an online satellite tournament at Intertops Poker. Here's an overview from Rikard about what to expect from the tournament.

A couple of weeks ago, Rikard interviewed Akash from his home in Washington, DC. This is the second time that Akash has won his way to a big overseas poker tournament by winning a satellite at Intertops Poker. Chill Out After Work -- $1000 GTD Stockholm Sundowner Tournaments



Evening Sundowner tournaments have been so popular at Intertops Poker and Juicy Stakes Casino that they're adding a fourth Sundowner tournament to their popular $1000 GTD after-work tournaments. The new $1000 GTD Stockholm Sundowner tournaments will be held in the early evening for European players, Monday to Saturday at 8:05 CEST (2:05 pm Eastern, 4:05 am AEST).

"Wherever you live in the world, evening is that time when a lot of people move from their daytime work routines into their evening fun times,” said Intertops’ poker manager.  “A little Hold’em is a great way to switch gears.”
